Lixiyue Yan, also known as Melanie Yan, is an aspiring illustrator/artist currently based in Toronto. Melanie works primarily in drawing, illustration, sequential art, and motion design. Her works often apply visual narrative elements as an enhancement of communication. Her most recent works are focusing on interpreting melancholia and fragility birthed from the fear of time getting cluttered through the repetition of routine daily.
